Please see the note below from the local chapter of the Canadian Parents for French which is an organization which benefits children in both our English and French Immersion programs.
WE have had a very exciting year and supported many innovative programs at our local schools. Our CPF - Saanich, website has been down but our Facebook page is alive and well with lots of great links, updates and event information. We also produced a few fact filled newsletters (if you missed them, drop us a line and we can resend).
Sadly some of our fabulous CPF volunteers are moving on, or reducing their volunteer time. As a result, we are urgently seeking new people (no need to speak French) to step up and join us to continue our essential work to aid, encourage and promote French (core and immersion) learning in our schools. We hope you will consider to join us. Many roles are shared by two people. Do consider if you can team up with someone OR pass to any friend that you feel might have some interest to get involved.
Make plans to attend our AGM on May10th at 6.30 pm Ecole Deep Cove.

- School reps for : Deep Cove, Keating and Stelly's
- Member at Large
- Other ad hoc volunteer roles throughout the year: Support at different school events.
We are also seeking someone who might have good pc skills that could assist us place all our key files online. No need to attend any meetings, just work at your own speed at home to upload files to Google docs to ensure easier succession references.
