The Impact of Entertainment Media on Today’s Families

Where: The Mini Gym located at the back of Deep Cove School -  10975 W Saanich Rd, North Saanich, BC V8L 5P6

October 10 - 6:30-7:30 Pm  Doors open at 6:15

Shannon Husk (Master in Counselling) will discuss the concerns with screen time, social media, and video gaming and how to find a balance with these issues. Through sharing real stories that have impacted individuals, couples, and families, Shannon will present potential solutions of how to address these challenges.

Orange Shirt Day is an event that started in 2013. It was designed to educate people and promote awareness about the Indian residential school system and the impact this system had on Indigenous communities for more than a century in Canada.
