    Successful Floorball Trial
by Steve MacGregor - Friday, 15 June 2018, 2:04 PM

Thanks to all families and kids who participated in our two weeks of Floorball before school.  We are calling this program finished for the year at this time as we have gymnastics club needing the space in the big gym and a soccer program on the top field.  We learned that floorball is a popular program and that if we can get it up and running again in the fall it would be well attended and appreciated by students.

Special thanks to Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Ganske for running this program for the kids.

SOGI has created a new website to inform parents about the program and answer common questions and concerns.

The SOGI program aims to promote inclusivity and diversity in schools. The resource is designed to be age appropriate and relates to the existing B.C. Physical and Health Education curriculum.

If you have any questions, please refer to the website or contact Deep Cove's SOGI Lead, Lindsay Epp.
