DolphinBonjour and Hello Deep Cove Families!

We are settling into our new school year.  Classes are establishing new routines and it is wonderful to see students playing happily at the recess breaks.   We continue to practice Health and Safety protocols around the school and in the school yard and appreciate  families remaining closer to the perimeter which really helps minimize crowding.  This also allows for the building of independence in our children and offers them the opportunity to meet and greet the other children in their class, along with their teachers.

A reminder to students that they are to go straight to their line up spots when dropped off in the morning (not on playground).  We ask families to refrain from dropping students prior to 8:25 am.  There is limited supervision and it is primarily to meet arriving students.

At this time we are still recommending limited and only essential reasons for entering the building (please call first). It is appreciated that masks are a consideration when on the school grounds.  Of course, inside the building, all Grade 4s, 5s and staff are wearing masks and ALL visitors are required to sign in as well as wear a mask.  There will be opportunities to come into the school once we are settled and back in routine.  Stay tuned about our Open House on October 7th - more information will follow.

Happy to see the sunshine back today, but please ensure that your child has outdoor gear as we will be going outside as much as possible!

Have a great Wednesday!
