As the leaves begin to fall and the weather has started to chill we mark week 5 of our return to school. We are well into learning and have adapted nicely to our new routines and expectations around Health and Safety. Although we all continue to be concerned about the Provincial COVID picture, it is definitely a time to reflect on the gifts and gratitudes that are also present in our lives. A Gratitude highlight for some of us is the opportunity to access the beautiful outdoor classroom just a few blocks from the school. We would like to extend a very big thank you to Ruth and Don James for inviting us onto this magnificent piece of property where we are experiencing outdoor learning in a very authentic way.
This weekend, I hope you are able to take time to highlight some of the "What is right with the World" examples**. Finding space to acknowledge the positive, in a time when we struggle with all that is not within our control, can really help us remain optimistic.
Have a restful, restorative weekend.
