Dear Families,
Last week, two of our primary classes visited the Saanich Peninsula Food
Bank and were moved to do more to support this organization. Did you
know that the Food Bank gives out over 5 tonnes of food a month, and
serves over 300 children?
Right now, their shelves are the barest they have been in many years and
an article was run in the Peninsula News Review to let the community
know they need support.
The school has a donation bin setup by the office, and we are inviting
families to send in a donation on Games Day and Hot Lunch on Wednesday,
or to the Year End Assembly on Thursday. Cash donations can also be
given to Mrs. Durand at the office.
