A few odds and ends to share about today:
- The kids and staff did a great job with this morning's lockdown drill. Members of the RCMP, including School Liaison Officer Cst. de Pass supervised the drill and were impressed by how the group performed.
- A reminder that the Community Picnic organized by the PAC is on Wednesday from 5:30-8:00.
- Donations are being collected for Anawim House. There will be boxes for donation collection at the picnic tomorrow evening. If you need a list of items being collected please be in touch with your child's classroom teacher, Mme. Lee, or M. Makuch whose classes will be delivering our community's donations on Friday.
- A storage container has been delivered to the front of the school in preparation for a "re-piping" project being undertaken at the school over the summer and likely into September. Although our water at the school is clean and safe, after the re-piping the current filtration system will no longer be necessary.
