Hello Deep Cove Dolphin Families - we wanted to express our heartfelt thanks for working with us to make this a great start to the school year. We are so excited to greet our Intermediate students tomorrow to round out our Orientation Days for Grades 1-5. We also want to send a giant WELCOME to our new Kindergarten Students who will start in their Gradual Entry Rotations tomorrow. Some important information:
- School Release and Information Packages went home with students today (and will go home with remaining students tomorrow). Please find 2 copies of a DAILY HEALTH CHECK on the top of the package.
- Families (as well as STAFF) are required to do a DAILY HEALTH CHECK for each child, prior to arriving at school. Please sign and return the RED copy indicating your understanding and commitment to this daily process. Keep the white copy at home (maybe on the Fridge) for handy reference each day. Thank you also, for reading, signing and returning the remaining forms as well. Please note that Student Information Verification Forms will come home next week and are not in this package.
- Teachers will be in touch with families in regard to specific pick up and drop off locations for their class moving forward. A reminder to parents to remain within 6 feet of the perimeter fence and thank you for reminding your children to maintain social distancing.
- If your child should happen to be late please call the office (250-656-7254) and one of the staff will meet them at the door.
Thank you for all you are doing to support your family during this transition. It was truly delightful to finally see and hear students back at school. We will continue to do our best to provide a safe, fun and educational environment for our community.
