PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGES FOR 2020-2021
Dear Parents/Guardians
If your child is starting kindergarten this September you would have received a letter at the beginning of July indicating your child’s cohort for Gradual Entry (Your child is in cohort A, B, or C) This has NOT changed. Please remind yourself of your child’s cohort letter.
The letter also included important TIMES and DATES for the gradual entry process. THESE HAVE CHANGED due to our current circumstances. Please read the following carefully to note the new Gradual Entry Schedule:
NO CHANGE- please confirm your child's attendance by phone 250-656-7254 between August 31 and Sept. 4.
CHANGED: Gradual Entry Rotation Dates - PLEASE NOTE:
Gradual Entry Rotation Dates are now:
September 11, 14, 15 (Friday, Monday, Tuesday)
NOT September 9,10,11 (Wed to Friday) as previously planned

Please note that families will receive an email from the teachers early during the week of September 14 to indicate which classroom teacher your student has been placed with. This is a process that enables the teachers to get to know your children and aids in creating balanced learning communities.
September 16 and September 17 (Wednesday and Thursday)
Students attend 8:40 - 11:14
Friday, September 18
Students attend regular school hours 8:40 - 2:48
