Happy Tuesday Deep Cove Dolphins.  

Please find attached an important document that will link families to extra District devices to support home learning.  If you need a device for your children, an extra device to support learning and/or know of someone who this could benefit, please see attachment for more info. 

How is your learning going? Are you using your virtue of  Cooperation?

This week I am learning how to make a link on our Website so that you can safely upload examples of your learning for the whole school to see.  I can’t wait to share the “how to’s” of this.

In the meantime, here is a game you could try that requires great Cooperation

Egg Delivery Game:

Need: you need a blindfold, some fake or real eggs, a basket.  There is one Rabbit, one Rabbit helper (minimum) 

Objective: Help the Rabbit deliver eggs to the basket

To Play:  The basket is placed at one side of the playing area and the Rabbit stands at the other side.  The Rabbit wears a blindfold and the Rabbit’s helpers direct the Rabbit to deliver eggs to the basket on the other side of the playing area by giving specific directions.

If there are more than two people, the other people become obstacles (plants, trees, daffodils) and scatter themselves in between the Rabbit and the basket.  The Rabbit helpers give clear step by step directions to get the Rabbit to the basket. The helpers can only give one direction at a time (ie take 5 steps forward.). Good luck to the Rabbit!! Have fun.
