January 16 - Understanding the FI Kindergarten Placement Process - this meeting is intended to clarify the Placement Process for any Saanich families wishing to enrol their child in French Immersion Kindergarten.  The process is based on a lottery system ( with a District process) and the intention of the meeting is to outline the entire process and to pre- answer any questions that may arise around this.  Having this information prior to registration could be helpful to families.  This is not about the Kindergarten program - only the registration process. 

January 22 -Kindergarten Information Evening  7-8:30 pm- Keating Elementary School - 6843 Central Saanich Road

Children born in 2015 are eligible to register for Kindergarten at your neighbourhood school.

This meeting is a general overview about the Saanich Kindergarten Program, what the program offers and other pertinent information (District personnel,  community partner booths and individual school staff available to answer questions). 

January 27 - January 31, 2020- Kindergarten Registration Begins

     French Immersion registrations:  Deep Cove Elementary (North Zone)

                                                              Keating Elementary (South & Central Zone)

To register at your neighbourhood school please bring:

• 3 Proof of address (resident driver’s license, utility bill, etc)
• Proof of your child’s age (birth certificate)
• Your child’s BC Care Card

After January 31, all K-5 registrations will be done at:
