As part of our school's health and safety program we will be working with our School Liaison Officer, Cst. Meighan de Pass, and possibly other members of the RCMP in the afternoon tomorrow to engage in a lockdown drill At younger grades we let the kids know that we practise this in case somebody comes into the school that isn't supposed to be here, and with older kids we may reference an intruder but will defer more detailed conversations (especially pertaining to high-profile events that may have been in the news) to parents/families.
