Deep Cove Elementary School

Over the coming weeks, our school community will be focused on awareness of Terry Fox and Tour de Rock and fund raising for these charities. There are online buttons on the right side of the Deep Cove web page to donate, and students can bring cash donations into school (donations brought to school will be shared evenly between the two charities, online donations can be directed to one charity or the other).

 Any student who brings in at least 2 toonies for Terry and Tour de Rock (one for each charity) will get their name in a draw to be Principal for a Day. Students can only have one entry to the draw. 

 In addition to the draw to be Principal for a Day, a number of staff made pledges that they will follow through with should the community raise a certain amount of money for the charities. Please see the display in the front hallway for these specific endeavours. Thank you in advance for your generosity in supporting these two charities. 

 Hopefully we see many of you for our Terry Fox Run at 9:00 am this Thursday, September 27th and October 4th for a brief Tour de Rock assembly at 2:00.
