Change of date for November's PAC meeting & Vote for non-budgeted expenditures.
As discussed at the October 16th PAC meeting we will change the date of the November PAC meeting from November 20th to November 6th. This change allows us to accommodate a vote for non-budgeted expenditure items ASAP:
$5000.00 for school clothing order
$350.00 for poinsettia order.
These requests were put forward by the volunteer coordinators in order for them to purchase inventory in time for the Christmas Fair. Sales of these items at the fair will recoup the cost of purchasing the inventory.
All parents are invited to come vote on this issue at the November 6th meeting at 6:30pm held at Deep Cove Elementary School.
As per the Deep Cove PAC constitutions and bylaws:
7. Any non-budgeted expenditures greater than $250.00 will be posted on the bulletin board and notification will be given to class representatives for distribution to parents fourteen (14) days prior to the next general meeting. The expenditure will be voted on at the next general meeting.
